It’s everywhere. We speak it constantly. We write it. It’s time to cut it.
There’s a dirty word infiltrating our speech, our writing, and our brains. Much of the time this word is stuffed-in as filler. Unconscious and sinister. Even the most well-meaning editor leaves this hideous beast in more often than out.
